IS THERE NEED FOR REVIVAL? First, what does REVIVE mean? The Greek meaning: To flourish anew. To live again. To regain life.} Webster says: Become active or flourishing again.To restore from a depressed, inactive, or unused state. To renew in the mind or memory.} Revival does NOT mean a series of meetings. Who is revival for? For the Christian. You cant renew something that was never new as in renewing furniture or an old vehicle. Why does a Christian need reviving? We allow our fire within to be reduced to a flicker or worse. We get in a rut. We lose our zeal and desire we once had. Serving God is no longer a priority. Colossians 1:18 says Jesus came to have preeminence.(first place, priority.) When Jesus no longer has preeminence in our lives, we need to be revived. Back to the Question: Do we need revival? My answer for myself, Yes!! In a BIG way! Bro Lyndon Longoria and The Willis Family will be at Faith Baptist Church this Sunday- Wednesday. They cant bring revival. They are only instruments God uses through Preaching and Singing the Gospel that the Holy Spirit uses to show us the need for our hearts to be stirred, our desires be renewed, our spirit once again to bear witness with Gods Holy Spirit. Everyone is welcome, NOT just members of FBC. You will be blessed to hear how God speaks through this Revival team. Come one, come all. PRAY HARD for revival!!
