The advert for “SAVE THE CHILDREN” with Paul O’grady is to save children from starving, not in Africa, not in Burma or Syria, not in the Congo or Libya but here in the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom that has today a new air to the throne (third in line), the United Kingdom that has bombed and warred its way through most of the 21st century so far. A United Kingdom that can go to war for a decade but cant look after the sick and elderly, can’t look after the mentally ill or FEED THE CHILDREN IN OUR OWN COUNTRY. THE FORCED AUSTERITY IS DEPRIVING CHILDREN OF FOOD AND CARE, to get a proper life, DEPRIVING THE ELDERLY OF DIGNITY IN THEIR LATE YEARS, FORCING MENTALY ILL PEOPLE TO STAND IN COURT WITHOUT LAWFUL REPRESENTATION, yet the press is sitting outside a hospital for pictures of a baby that will never want for anything and will never feel the pangs of hunger or the sorrow of loneliness in deprivation. UNITED KINGDOM YOU SHOULD BE BLOODY ASHAMED OF YOURSELF.
