IS YOUR SEMINARY FINANCIALLY SOUND? As reported recently in the Mail and Guardian, St Augustine College of South Africa has sadly been forced to put its undergraduate programmes into abeyance and may sell its campus, largely as a result of R3.5 million in unpaid student fees. We at the South African Theological Seminary wish to reassure our students and prospective students that our funding model is very different from many other institutions. We have no debt and do not rely on donor funding as part of our budget. SATS students are required to pay up front for courses, avoiding the accumulation of bad debt. We thank the Lord for His provision for SATS over the past 17 years where, through this sound financial policy and under the careful direction of our Board, we have been able to pay all our salaries and bills every month. We look forward to continuing growth and development under His mighty hand.
