IS2003188771 - Djákni frá Hömrum II Great riding horse with lots of tölt for sale! Djákni is a bay gelding wth star, born 2003. He is fivegaited, but so far ridden as a fourgaiter. Djákni is very friendly, charming in handling and with an immense will to please the rider under the saddle. Everybody with some experience can ride him and enjoy his comfortable gaits. We used Djákni in some highland horse trips and he was everybody’s darling, not afraid of anything, always easy to control, even in a big group of horses, but also there is no problem to go out on a hack with him alone. Djákni’s father is the Hraunar frá Sauðárkróki son Ylur frá Bjarnastöðum, who was evaluated with 7.72 as a fourgaiter with 8 for tölt. Djákni’s mother is Brúnka frá Hömrum II, who also is the mother of the 1st prize mare Nútíð frá Hömrum II. Djákni is a strong horse that suits taller riders as well and would as example do great as a family horse for people who are looking for a reliable partner for hacks or even smaller fourgait or tölt competitions. He has a very pleasant amount of temperament, no sleeping pill, but also no ‘runner’. You just switch on his tölt button (or trot, walk, or canter button, if you wish) and he starts going.
