IS2011184984 - Krummi frá Efri-Þverá Sports prospect and son of Þóroddur frá Þóroddsstöðum for sale! Krummi, the raven, is born 2011 and a beautiful black gelding with great potential to go into top sports. His father is the fanous Þóroddur frá Þóroddsstöðum. At Landsmót 2004 Þóroddur became the highest judged icelandic stallion in the world, only 5 years old at the time. He received 8.74 in total with 9.04 for ridden abilities: 9.5 for spirit, 9 for tölt, trot, pace, and general impression. In 2012 Þóroddur received the Honorary Prize for offsprings. He also took part in competitions. His higest mark for Gæðingakeppni A-Class (five gait) is 9.04 (Landsmót 2006). Krummi’s mother is Svört frá Kópavogi, which brings a lot of famous Svaðastaðir blood into Krummi’s breeding. Due to his age Krummi is not yet trained, but impresses with A LOT of movements. He has naturally high leg action, very long strides and comes with very good self carriage and support of hindlegs. We think that Krummi might be 5-gaited, but we are not 100% sure yet. He shows a lot of variation in speed which is the perfect base for his future abilities under the saddle. Krummi has a quite compact built, strong and long legs and really good topline and good conformation overall. He looks very elegant when moving and he could be the perfect horse for someone who wants to train his future competition horse on his own.
