ISAC will relinquish control of the Hampshire League at the end of the 2014 season. The Hampshire League will be handed over to the control of Justin Roulland, the proprietor of Lock, Stock and Tackle, Fishing Tackle Shop in Portsmouth from the start of the 2015 season. Justin is a big fan of recreational angling, a tackle shop owner, and current sponsor of the HL. He has hosted his own shop run Friday league for several years now. Justin has fished many ISAC matches over the past 18 years and told me, that he was honoured to be taking over the Hampshire League from 2015. His plans are to encourage new participation, re-introduce some of the old favourite venues, and to develop greater sponsorship and support from some of the big named tackle companies, that he deals with on a daily basis through his business. All the favourite add-on competitions within the HL will continue, with a few new ideas for the benefit of all members and competitors. It’s an exciting future for a fantastic league that has been greatly supported by south coast sea anglers over the past two decades, and only right that the HL continues to progress in this way. To assist the handover, this years tournament has been streamlined to feature only those events that have been sponsored, the Individual Championship, Pairs, Knockout Cup and Inter Tackle Shop League. Justin will be ably assisted by Danny Mogridge, Ian Dancey, Darren Cramer and Mike Groves in the running of the league, and welcomes further support from anybody else interested. Contact Justin in his shop. ISAC will close its membership at the end of the 2014 season. Trevor Sutch CEO ISAC
