ISIS has taken control of the Homs Province within northwestern Iraq, and after violently seizing control of gas fields within the area, they issued an ultimatum to Iraqi Christians in the City of Mosul who chose not to flee to relative safety in Kurdish controlled territory. Iraqi Christians are required to pay extra taxes to Islamic courts and renounce their faith or remain true and leave ISIS controlled territory. Those that chose to stay would not survive.
