ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Monday said he would take oath as a member of the National Assembly on June 19 (Wednesday). “I will be taking oath in NA on 19th and speaking on the budget the same day,” Imran tweeted on Monday. He has also planned to lay down his policy on national issues particularly on budgetary related matters before the Parliament on the same day. “My address to the Parliament will lay out PTI’s policy on crucial national issues and how the K-P Govt will be a role model of clean, efficient governance,” he added. Earlier, a special plane was chartered to take the chairman to Benazir Bhutto International Airport on June 13. Imran reached Islamabad after doctors at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital cleared him for travelling. Imran was injured when he fell of a forklift during election campaigning in Lahore on May 7. Imran who received injuries to his head and back was discharged from the hospital on May 22. Due to his injuries, he was not able to travel to Islamabad to take oath as a member of the National Assembly.
