ISLAMIC ENCROACHMENT AND ESCALATION OF JIHAD Food For Thought. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Convert them or kill them is a bit flippant, limited and unqualified. Some things cant be answered in a sound bite or a video clip. (Referring the that Duck guy) We are not called to only preach to our persecutors without any regard for situational assessment, nor are we called to convert them or kill them necessarily. Such blanket assessments are for mindless generalities, mental theoretical simulations having little connection to reality or true personal faith in Christ, in my opinion. (I know there are other opinions. Probably some really good ones and well thought out Spirit led wisdom too. I just havent seen much of it. So if you have some, bring it on please, people are starving out here.) Paul fled from persecution, being let down in a basket in stealth off a city wall. He didnt merely preach to them to his own demise. He wasnt trying to get himself killed. Martyrdom may be a noble and glorious result, but when we start making it the goal, we may jump off into pride and vainglory. What a way to lose your reward. Jesus said flee. 1) (Matt 10:23 [AKJV/PCE]) But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. 2) (Matt 24:15 [AKJV]) When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoever reads, let him understand:) (Matt 24:16 [AKJV]) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: (Matt 24:17 [AKJV]) Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: (Matt 24:18 [AKJV]) Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. (Matt 24:19 [AKJV]) And woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! (Matt 24:20 [AKJV]) But pray you that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: (Matt 24:21 [AKJV]) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Jesus was absolutely talking to his disciples, not merely Jews or general population as some assert, but disciples; just start back at the first several vss of Matt 24 and read it. It clear as a bell. Are you a disciple or not? Practically, Islam is setting up to kill you, not have a discussion. One must be aware of the levels of Jihad being implemented by Islam in all of the world. Some questions need to be considered here. When they come down your street with machine guns and machetes leaving a trail of blood and headless corpses, what will you do? Preach the gospel? Shoot them? Run? Do we have the responsibility to protect our family and neighbors? Do we have the right not to? Do we have the right to offer them up as a sacrifice to God or is that their personal decision? I need to insert a Jihad Lesson Here: See the levels of Jihad here; I will give two examples from two sources. FIRST EXAMPLE: The eminent Muslim scholar, Sheikh Muhammad `Ali Al-Hanooti, member of the North American Fiqh Council, states: “Jihad in the Quran is a term that signifies striving and endeavoring. The root of that word in Arabic is Jahd, which means spending energy and potential for a certain cause. It covers up practically four areas in the Islamic cause: 1) Teaching people the message of Islam: Any plans or steps of making Da`wah is a kind of Jihad. Allah, Most High, says: O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites! Be harsh with them. Their ultimate abode is hell, a hapless journeys end. (At-Tawbah: 73) We know that addressing the hypocrites in this verse never means combating, but means Da`wah because a hypocrite is still a Muslim and a Muslim cannot combat another Muslim. 2) Disciplining ones soul: Any disciplinary work for improving ones faith and behavior is Jihad. Refraining from wrongdoing and following stannic ways is Jihad. 3) Spending money in the cause of Islam: Jihad with money is mentioned in many verses of the Glorious Qur’an. Sometimes, it comes before Jihad with the soul. This type of Jihad is strategic in any plan for working in the cause of Islam. 4) Combating the enemy: The Quran uses another term for combating. In Arabic, the term is Qital. So Qital in the Quran (combating) is the fourth implementation of Jihad. This conception of Jihad is based on Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah’s Zad al-Ma`ad [Provision of the Hereafter].” (Taken from Islamic Awareness . Net) SECOND EXAMPLE: The Call to Jihad: Three Stages When we turn to Islam’s theological sources and historical writings (Qur’an, Hadith, Sira, and Tafsir), we find that there are three stages in the call to Jihad, depending on the status of Muslims in a society. STAGE ONE—When Muslims are completely outnumbered and can’t possibly win a physical confrontation with unbelievers, they are to live in peace with non-Muslims and preach a message of tolerance. We see an example of this stage when Muhammad and his followers were a persecuted minority in Mecca. Since the Muslims were entirely outnumbered, the revelations Muhammad received during this stage (e.g. “You shall have your religion and I shall have my religion”) called for religious tolerance and proclaimed a future punishment (rather than a worldly punishment) for unbelievers. STAGE TWO—When there are enough Muslims and resources to defend the Islamic community, Muslims are called to engage in defensive Jihad. Thus, when Muhammad had formed alliances with various groups outside Mecca and the Muslim community had become large enough to begin fighting, Muhammad received Qur’an 22:39-40: Permission (to fight) is given to those upon whom war is made because they are oppressed, and most surely Allah is well able to assist them; Those who have been expelled from their homes without a just cause except that they say: our Lord is Allah. . . . Although Muslims in the West often pretend that Islam only allows defensive fighting, later revelations show otherwise. STAGE THREE—When Muslims establish a majority and achieve political power in an area, they are commanded to engage in offensive Jihad. Hence, once Mecca and Arabia were under Muhammad’s control, he received the call the fight all unbelievers. In Surah 9:29, we read: Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth, from among the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. Notice that this verse doesn’t order Muslims to fight oppressors, but to fight those who don’t believe in Islam (including the “People of the Book”—Jews and Christians). You are required by the United States Constitution and the US Code to defend your Country and State. Taking ROMANS 13:1-71 and 1st PETER 2:13-21 into consideration, and not just what it says about obeying or submitting to authorities but very importantly what it says is a legitimate authority, how will you respond if you are called upon, which you are already by law, to pick up the sword and defend against attack. (Speaking to Christians here) Let us take a look at the Militia as described in the Constitution as a real life example of: PERPLEXITIES OF OBEYING THE SCRIPTURES ON CIVIL DUTIES (A Brief Look) Now as a brief example of where a difficult choice concerning our obedience to scripture and the ordinance of man lie, and as an example of how unfamiliar we are with our own governing document, consider the following: United States Code, Tiltle 10, Chapter 13-The Militia, Section 311; The Militia Militia, Section 311; (a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are commissioned officers of the National Guard. And The Constitution For The United States Of America Article 1, Section 8 ; To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the laws of the Union, suppress insurrections and repel invasions; to provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining the Militia, and for governing such part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the appointment of the officers, and the authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress... So now what? If congress calls forth the Militia, are you ready? Can you discern the difference between a lawful order and an unlawful order? Is this requirement one which your faith in Christ demands or forbids you to follow? What if Congress calls forth the Militia to resist the Executive branch? Then what? Did you even know you are or ever have been a Militia member as defined by the U.S. Code? If we are in a quandary over these things, then what will we do with laws and requirements that are demanding our allegiance that are not even lawful by our Constitution? The point is we are now so buried in corruption that we are faced with a struggle between going with the flow, obeying and demanding constitutional requirements and additionally, and more importantly, we have our faith to consider. What do we do while disobeying the other? I hope that gets you thinking. It is time for backbone. Backbone can be found in the bible and in righteous living through relationship with Jesus Christ. We cant just carelessly tell people that God says we have to obey the government or just say preach to Islam or ISIS etc. Pastors will be telling you that it is your Christian duty to obey the government. But they in most cases wont expound on it to your benefit. This will become worse as time goes on in these last days. FOOD FOR THOUGHT FRIENDS I post the scriptural references here for your perusal if you so choose. Submit Yourselves to Every Ordinance of Man For The Lords Sake For The LORDs Sake ROMANS 13:1-7 1 Let every soul be subject to the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whoever therefore resists the power, resists the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Will you then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and you shall have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid; for he bears not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath on him that does evil. 5 Why you must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay you tribute also: for they are Gods ministers, attending continually on this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor. 1st PETER 2:13-21 13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lords sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; 14 Or to governors, as to them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. 15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: 16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. 17 Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king. 18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the fraudulent. 19 For this is thank worthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. 20 For what glory is it, if, when you be buffeted for your faults, you shall take it patiently? but if, when you do well, and suffer for it, you take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. 21 For even hereunto were you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps: Excerpts taken from the note: Submit Yourselves to Every Ordinance of Man For The Lords Sake found at the following link: https://facebook/notes/gary-gray/submit-yourselves-to-every-ordinance-of-man-for-the-lords-sake/270840159610341
