ISLAMIC STATE: Ed and Paula Kassig, the parents of Abdul-Rahman (Peter) Kassig, released a statement today following the confirmation of the death of their son. Along with a family photo of Peter in his teens, Paula said Our hearts are battered, but they will mend. The world is broken, but it will be healed in the end. And good will prevail as the One God of many names will prevail. Abdul-Rahmans death was confirmed after a video released by the Islamic State claiming his killing on November 16.
