ISO JOB....single mom who recently just lost my job due to a new management company coming in and something g on my background is preventing them from hiring me. Only thing I really have is hot checks and the last one I have was from 2008 and just recently but that was paid off and dismissed. (Hot checks a few times before 2098 also but all misdemeanors. I did what was necessary to make sure my son was provided for and if the makes me a bad person then so be it!) I have worked everyday since I was 17, except the first year after my son was born. I have 8 plus years bartending, serving experience and I am tabc current cerrified. I have 9 plus years in the apartment industry as a leading agent and assistant manager. I have great people skills, specialty in sales, very computer and tech savvy! I also used to flip houses and do full paint jobs and minor repairs in homes. I can trim I on baseboards with precision and no prepping is needed bc i never make a mess! (Knock on wood) I can even remove popcorn ceiling, prep, prime, killz, and skim coat a ceiling to a level smooth flat ceiling! Sanding, staing, decks etc! I cam also change oils on most domestic cars, change alternators on most domestic and SOME foreign cars. Serpentine belt, and I just did my own outer tie rods myself on my Ford without help and did such a good job I didnt need an alignment afterwards. I have no problem working odd hours as long as the job is stable, permanent, and full time. Pay needs to be at least 9-10 if not more to compensate for gad milage if needed. I have no problem getting dirty and even mowing and edging a lawn...shoot Im also really good at cleaning, bathrooms are my forte! Lol. I work well with others. I live being a leader while at the same y ime following following and learning new ways of doing g things from others! I am great in an office setting, amazing phone voice, computer skills, detail oreintated, and can meet deadlines. The only think is think is the hot checks on my background which I repeat are only misdemeanors. I have had had a tough time finding are job here in San Antonio just this past year. I have applied everywhere from Mc donalds, bill millers, west, dey cleaners, restaurants, economic lube, walmart, apartment complexes, bars etc. And all I ever get is, youre overqualified, were not hiring, the hot check problem, or they arent giving full time hours as promised once hired. All I need is is a chance to prove myself. And And a job thats looking to start immediately, full time and decent pay. Hours, I can work around because I can truly need a job. I am looking to start immediately, I actually could have actually started two weeks ago lol! Does anyone know of anything nor anyone reading this hiring?? Please let let me know or pm me.
