ISSUES ON MY MIND. Well done our gallant military, twice they came yesterday in Konduga, and twice you subdued and quashed them , in multiple of hundreds they fell. Though this caricature media houses would never report your exploits nor let the world know how much sacrifice you make for this land, some of us would forever remain grateful. To them, your exploits mean a plus for Jonathan and so must be subdued. They make headlines in red bold captions when soldiers flee, but keep mum when soldiers destroy these ragtag army of theirs. They are the mouth piece of terrorists, they make headlines with how many times Shekau goes to toilet....etc but keep mum at your successes. Truth is, there is a deep sympathy for BOKO haram, their only crime being that they deviated from killing just the unbelievers, and this sympathy runs deep , from top to bottom. To these enemies of the state, every attack by the BOKO boys discredits GEJ, but they fail to understand that while for instance BAMA burns , people in Otuoke go about drinking their ogogoro in PEACE till midnight. In fact, I laugh when people say shits like Jonathan will not be re elected because of BOKO haram. As at last month when I travelled, once I crossed Damagun, I found out people seemingly gave less concern about BOKO haram, sadly so. I have marveled many a time at how reckless highly educated people in Borno speak on sensitive issues that border on security and faith. It must be made clear that Nigeria is bigger than Borno, and just because there is a collective disgust in Borno on the person of mr President does not mean such sentiments are shared by the people in my village in Mbajov in konshisha LG, and many other places. I have always maintained my stance against the ideology called north, a domineering ideology which makes certain people think they can do and undo. That same ideology that makes a Fulani man thinks he can leave katsina and come to Benue and carve out a grazing field in my fathers compound. The very ideology that would call me a northerner but would rather see a Tambuwal as a better presidential candidate than a David Mark Time has come for us all to face it,we all own Nigeria, and we are and must be seen to be equal. No body will thumb print for me on the day of election like a gud paddy of mine Paschal Iornenge once said. So I pray for my military, God keep you all safe I pray for Borno, may the days of laughter return and quickly so, I pray for my country , you shall prevail and be called BLessED And I pray for these enemies of the state , may God give you all long lives to see as a new Nigeria emerge from the rubles you have created , a Nigeria were evil people of your likes will not arm twist people for selfish motives, A Nigeria where every Nigerian will count And there will no longer be THE BORN TO RULE AND THE BORN TO BE RULED.
