POSITION DETAILS: Position Title: IT Engineer Reports to: Administration Manager Department: Administration Grade: L2 Required Nationalities Canadian, GCC Nationality holders, Egyptian, Philippines, Indian & Nepalese. Job Location The Job Holder will be based at Plant, 100 km South West of Kuwait city; 2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Day to day plant efficient management of IT activities, according to good utility practice, company rules and procedures, legal, contractual and other requirements • Development of the short and long term IT strategy for the plant and development of capable staff to support that strategy. • Establish the appropriate procedures and management processes as applicable to a prudent IT management. • Coordinate IT activities with operation, maintenance, administration, and HSE departments • Define, manage and monitor the IT budget in line with the overall company budget • Responsible for the Telephone, CCTV and Access Control systems for site physical security. • Ensure reliability, availability and security of IT systems through adequate systems and controls • Providing technical support to IT users • Establishes and administers the IT strategy processes through a computerized management program; • Determines and schedules the resources and requirements for each activity; • Development, achievement and reporting of KPIs and objectives in line with the Business Plan; • Efficient management of resources, supplies and consumables • Establish and implement vertical/horizontal communication within the team to ensure members are well informed and remain engaged with the business. • Adherence to Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards • Maintaining high standards of management, ethics and leadership • Establish and facilitate training programs for individual development and operational competence • Implements lessons learned processes and other activities to achieve a learning organization; • Prepares specifications, plans and administers Third Party Audits and other support contracts; 3.
