IT IS FINISHED- sin The sons of God do not sin because the seed of God lives in them and the father keeps them from sining. Read 1 John 5 (how to overcome the world) We are the sons of God so we do not sin (but if anyone sins, we have an advocator. Understand willful sins and accidental sins which is judged by the intentions) All have sinned and come short of Gods glory is a past condition of our life but presently, if anyone is in Christ Jesus He is a new creature, old things(sins) has passed away and all have become new(holiness). Without Holiness, No eyes shall see God. Therefore you have to be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect. Someone asked the teacher, what shall i do to enter the kingdom of God, The master replied him saying, go and keep the whole commandments. He claimed that He can keep the whole laws but when he was adviced to sell everything that he had and come to follow Christ he absconded. The master then said that it is hard for a rich man to enter Gods kingdom. Peter replied that it means no one would enter, but Christ said it is possible with God but impossible with man. Therefore faith is necessary in this regard since without faith it is impossible to please God. The intentions of an action is what God judges not just the actions itself which we may fault to be wrong. If we Have the right spirit who is Holy, the Spirit will keep us from sinning. Many atimes the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak but if the spirit of He who raised Christ from the dead lives in us He shall quicken our mortal bodies to live through His spirit that lives in us. Always understand that Christ is the vine and we are the branches. We need to abide in Him and His word in us so that we can bear many fruits for without Him we can do nothing. Read John 15 Therefore there are ways that seems right to men but the end is destruction. If anyone must boast it must be in the Lord and not in the works of flesh which are only self righteousness . But when we wish to continue in sin so that grace may increase, we are crucifying Christ many times by such spiritual laziness and luckwarm attitude. Devil is the accuser of the brethren, so we should not always alow our conscience to be so much captivated with fear of sin which is death instead of fear of God which is wisdom. We should not struggle with with sin to defeat it but we should just accept That it is finished on the cross and that sin , death and grave has been defeated by his blood. We should accept to have risen with Him in the power of his resurrection and we will see the devil and sin flee from us when we resist them. When many us us fails to do the little work of faith and we simply belive that we cannot overcome sin, we simply deny Christ, His death and His resurrection by going back to Egypt in our minds. Whosoever the son has set free is free indeed. Why should we accept to be captives any more. CNC
