I had no idea of the number of people who call themselves Christians that used to and still do practice witchcraft, sorcery or worship of idols. Also many of those who were now believers came, confessing and divulging their practices. And a number of those who had practiced magic arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted the value of them and found it came to fifty thousand pieces of silver. So the word of the Lord continued to increase and prevail mightily. - Acts 19:18-20 You know that when you were pagans you were led astray to mute idols, however you were led. - 1 Corinthians 12:2 (ESV) So it is important to understand, not only what you believe and why you believe it, but also it is important to understand the beliefs of those you allow to influence what you believe.
