IT IS TIME FOR OUR MBAISE BROTHER TO BE THE STATES GOVERNOR. Im not from Mbaise. But the truth must be told no matter whose Ox is gored. This is the time for an Mbaise son or daughter to seat at the Douglas house next year. Since the creation of the South East, no Mbaise brother or sister has been appointed, nominated or made a governor. The same issue has continued in Imo state yet Mbaise makes up the large chunk of Owerri senatorial zone. In fact that Mbaise is part of Owerri senatorial zone is an aberration, an injustice to Mbaise people and a neglect to a people so large to have its own state or at least its own senatorial zone. Since the creation of modern Imo state, Okigwe and Orlu zones have marginalized others in seating at Douglas house. Owerri zone made up of Ngor Okpala, Owerri, Ikeduru, Mbaitoli plus Mbaise has barely produced late senator Evans Enwerem and the khaki boys booted him out of office. Since then, Imo state has been governed by Orlu and Okigwe. Yet Mbaise has the larger population among Imolites. Im of the opinion that Imolites should work together with the PDP and vote Mr. Emeka Ihedioha to the government house come 2015. But my fear as it has always been with the PDP in Imo state is that she always works against herself. If all PDP contestants that lost the primary elections would work with Mr. Ihedioha, Rochas would be singing bye bye to Douglas house next year. But will PDP work together for her own good? Your guess is as good as mine. Yet we need the best candidate to govern us.
