IT IS UNOFFICIALLY OFFICIAL! We are getting a Catholic exchange student from Guatemala!!! I just know God called us to do this. That day I went to the mass at ND, (remember the one i mentioned where i ended up being nearly the ONLY parent, but I had such an amazing experience?) the lady from the diocese was there encouraging students to become host families. The Holy Spirit definitely guided us in this decision, especiallly with our crazy family dynamics. And both Chris and Adley are thrilled! I know it will be quite an experience for all of us. Last night at the meeting, she said You were chosen to do this. It wasnt luck or didnt just happen. Even in the midst of chaos and struggle and numerous school, work and home activities, we all still have something to offer. She said, out of the families chosen, on a BUSY SCALE out of 1-10, we choose the families that are 10+ !! And that is because they are used to handling lots of things,rolling with the flow, and making things happen for everyone. THAT IS US! And I agree. In all of my personal development, and Beachbody Business training and team building, I have heard this before. IF YOU WANT TO GET SOMETHING DONE, ASK THE BUSIEST PERSON YOU KNOW Well, Lord, you must know we can handle it! We are open and ready for the person you will guide them to select for us. And if any of you were on the fence about it, this is the last weekend to sign up for a student. There are still a few waiting to be chosen!
