IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL “And she answered, ‘It is well’ ” - TopicsExpress

IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL “And she answered, ‘It is well’ ” (2 Kings 4:26). We have a lesson to learn from the Shunammite woman. What could be more agonizing than the experience of a mother losing her only child in her old age? Without even informing her husband of this tragedy, she travelled a long distance to meet Elisha the Prophet of God because she had the faith that if only she could meet the man of God, all would be well. She knew that her case was redeemable; that was why she confessed positively about it. What situation are you in? Your situation is redeemable through Christ. Right now, begin to change your thoughts and words. Think like a victor, talk like a victor and act like a victor by confessing ‘it is well’ and you will be victorious. We are called to God’s kind of lifestyle – positive thinking, talking and acting. Your confession is the real faith talking. What you say will become a visible reality in the natural world if you steadfastly hold on to your confession of faith. No one conquers without faith. No one is blessed, healed and saved without faith. Faith sees the invisible, believes the impossible and receives the incredible. Therefore, as a man or woman of faith, even in the midst of crises, hardship and pain, you can confidently say, “It is well with my soul” because as a child of God, He will always makes your trouble work for your advancement. Prayer Point: Lord, Jesus Christ, whether You heal me or not, You are my Healer; whether You bless me or not, You are my Provider; whether You deliver me or not, You are my Deliverer; whether You save me or not, You are my Saviour. Thank You, Lord! It is well with my soul, in Jesus’ name.
