IT WAS UNANIMOUS!!! Tonight the City Council (THANK YOU, KEN SANCHEZ for sponsoring the bill) approved that the Childrens Room in the new westside library be named Lawrence Charles Vargas Childrens Activity Room--our sons short life of compassion & acts of kindness, his love of his community and his family and friends, his contributions to literacy through his artwork, and his memorial project, Lawrence Charles Vargas Shoes-for-Kids & Acts of Compassion will hopefully inspire children to practice acts of kindness, to read, read, read and become strong citizens who give back to their community! Who would have thought?? GOD IS GOOD.
