IT WOULD BE NICE IF SOMEONE COULD HELP ! When I left Cape Town I thought I´d be back within a few months time. However, for the foreseeable future this will not be going to happen. Therefore, I´d like to have my dog (Monkey) come to Germany (where I am currently residing). In preparation for the move she has already been chipped and received her rabies vaccination. However, due to EU-regulations on importing animals she will only be allowed into the EU by the beginning of December (when the last blood test will have been done 4 months after chipping). Since my house- and dogsitter unexpectedly became unavailable (due to having been severely assaulted by a criminal) I could arrange for Moneky to temporarily go back to the animal shelter I got her from, which is DARG (domestic animal rescue group) in Hout Bay. Unfortunately, I have been informed by DARG that they went into administration and might soon be closed down unless they manage to raise enough donations to keep operating. Therefore, I am now looking for someone who would be prepared to foster Monkey until early December (only in case DARG should really be closed). Monkey is a mid-sized cross-breed of about 20 kg, very clever, playful and lively.
