Winston Hadaway: When I was a youth growing up in SVG back in the 70s I would never forget all the raves about Gonsalves, this up an coming new Fidel Castro wannabe for change with his Socialism , a whole lot of youngsters was attracted even I too was caught up, then you had some very respected gentlemen like Renrick Rose,Patches Knights and Mike Brown etc. with the Black Power movement....it was something new for the youths in SVG, this Organisation of the Black Struggle with a Socialist twist instead of old colonial Cato it was refreshing and new .....Gonsalves was suppose to be their ace in their deck of cards, even when ULIMO ran and lost I was one of their sympathizer, I even persuade my mom to vote for them and also to even wear Afrocentric gowns, it was a cultural thing in those days..... 1979 I then left for the USA where I currently resides....fast forward from then to now looking back in retrospect, I now see the effects of the Kool Aide Gonsalves administered to the vincy populace over the years and I know they (the people) didnt signed up for this.....This man with sinister plans way back when was just waiting to acquire power and looking at the state of SVG right now the people have been duped and lied to......Hes now a filthy rich corrupt rapist wannabe Dictator acting in the guise of a PM while SVG is the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere with no Jobs for the youth,Govt. corruption out of control,Govt. Theft and Crime on the brink...this is the truth people dont be fooled anymore stop drinking this Kool Aide , wake up and live once again.......Oh Mr. Renrick Rose and others from back in days of the Black Struggle why have you gentlemen not stepped up to the plate and admonished PM Gonsalves for his divisiveness and ill treatment of SVG people??? SVG belongs to all Vincy people not a select few....SVG back then was a loving place to be what happened, everything now is about political tribal war???......like a famous saying goes HOW DID WE GET HERE???????
