IT YOU THINK>>> If you think this is how economy is run, you are far from being sane. you are a graduate without a job, but with 500 naira you can open a saving account in most Nigeria Banks and you get an ATM card. Good economy is not Build with Debit cards. Nation, Business and individual build wealth from loans and credits all around thee world. I am always surprise at the endless queues at some ATM points: these people are mostly youths and some must be graduates, the have to jobs, then, which money do they want to withdraw? Of a true, they do withdraw some cash.... these are usually money sent to them by Uncles, senior friend, Older family members and family friends. Are this money for business, trainings or investments? No, they are most time used for; the purchase of phones, birthday celebration, BB subscription, Pay TV subscription, Clothings, Eateries bills and the likes. when will a graduate drop an ATM card for a Cheque booklet or fat statement of account? GO TV is almost free, DSTV is affordable to even the jobless and star time is free; what values will all these free bees add to the lives of young persons. Our parent are afraid of retiring and scare of getting old, they have sent use to school, just for us to graduate and still continue to depend on them. we all have multiple account with different banks that can not borrow us just 5 naira. I dont blame the bank because they are scare your business will not thrive; not because you are incompetent or lazy, but because they know this nation economic and problems could chock your business. Before you earn your second salary, your parent will begin to shift the responsibility of the payment of your siblings bill to you. After the sixth salary, your fiancee is already on you neck for marriage (if you are a guy). when will you have time to grow and acquire real wealth? Economy is build this way any where... simply difficult
