Meyers left his Deer River residence on foot around 6:30 am this morning after contacting friends and indicating he intended to harm himself. Mr. Meyers then went into the woods near King Elementary and as a precautionary measure a soft lockdown was implemented. There have been no direct threats made to the school districts.
