ITS CHRISTMAS SUNDAY MORNING ACROSS AMERICA: I have vivid memories of my Dad, watching Bishop Fulton Sheen on our black and white television. Back it that day, some might have raised an eyebrow to a pentecostal preacher garnering inspiration from a Catholic Bishop but Daddy always heard a different drummer. Perhaps this is why:. . . . . . . .The Son of God made man was invited to enter His own world through a back door. Exiled from earth, He was under the earth, in a sense, the first Cave Man recorded in history. There He shook the earth to its very foundations. Because He was born in a cave, all who wished to see Him must stoop. To stoop is a mark of humility. The proud refuse to stoop, therefore, they miss Divinity. Those however who bend their egos and enter, find they are not in a cave at all, but in a new universe where sits a Babe on His Mothers lap, with the world poised on His fingers. . . .Divinity is always where one least expects to find it. (From the book, the LIFE OF CHRIST, by Bishop Fulton J. Sheen.)
