ITS GAME TIME!!!!! The New York Mets will try to bounce back from yesterdays loss as they take on the San Francisco Giants in the second of the four game wrap-around series @ Citi Field. It will be a battle of Jakes tonight as Jacob deGrom will go for the Mets against the Giants Jake Peavy. deGrom turned in a fourth straight dominant outing on Sunday, allowing four Brewers hits over 6 1/3 scoreless innings. He now has a 0.66 ERA in his last four starts, allowing two runs over 27 1/3 innings in that span. Scheduled to make his second start for the Giants since they obtained him from Boston, Peavy returns to a park where he has won both of his appearances. Those decisions improved his career record against the Mets to 6-2 with a 3.28 ERA. Terry Collins has elected to go with the LaRussa Line-up today with the pitcher deGrom batting eighth and Eric Young Jr. the left fielder today, ninth. Wilmer Flores will be at shortstop today. Hopefully the Mets will do better against Peavy, who is 6-2 with a 3.28 lifetime record against the Mets so he will be a challenge. Enjoy the game everyone. TESTIFY & LETS GO METS!!!!!
