ITS GAME TIME!!! The New York Mets will try to follow up on yesterdays dramatic win as they play the second game of the three game series against the Colorado Rockies @ Citi Field. Jacob deGrom takes the hill for the Mets, while Christian Bergman toes the rubber for the Rockies. deGrom should have four more chances to improve his NL Rookie of the Year candidacy. The first of them will come against the Rockies, whom he has never faced. The right-hander is 4-3 with a 1.68 ERA in eight starts at Citi Field. On a hot day when the ball was flying out of Coors Field, Bergman proved to be immune to the conditions, scattering nine hits to limit the Giants to two runs over six innings. He also didnt walk a single batter. The good news is that Daniel Murphy is back in the line-up at second base. The bad news is that David Wrights shoulder is barking again so Eric Campbell will man third tonight. New York and deGrom hope to continue to build on last nights win against their former closer, LaTroy Hawkins so enjoy the game tonight, TESTIFY & LETS GO deGROM & METS!!!!!!
