Even so, Amen. 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. 9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lords day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. 12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. 19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; 20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. I Juan 9, que también soy tu hermano y compañero en la tribulación y en el reino y la paciencia de Jesucristo, estaba en la isla que es llamada Patmos, por la palabra de Dios y del testimonio de Jesucristo. 10 Yo estaba en el Espíritu en el día del Señor, y escucha detrás de mí una gran voz, como de trompeta, 11 Diciendo: yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, el primero y el último; y, lo que vieres, escribir en un libro, y enviar, á las siete iglesias que están en Asia; á Efeso, y á Esmirna, y á Pérgamo, y á Tiatira, y á Sardis, y á Filadelfia, y á Laodicea. 12 Y me volví para ver la voz que hablaba conmigo. Y se convirtió, vi siete candeleros oro; 13 y en medio de los siete candeleros uno semejante al Hijo del hombre, vestido de una ropa que llegaba hasta los pies, y ceñidos los paps cinto de oro. 14 Su cabeza y sus cabellos eran blancos como la lana, blanco como la nieve; y sus ojos eran como llama de fuego; 15 y sus pies como bronce bruñido, como si se hubieran quemado en un horno; y su voz como el estruendo de muchas aguas. 16 Y él tenía en su diestra siete estrellas: y de su boca salía una aguda espada de dos filos; y su rostro era como el sol resplandece en su fuerza. 17 Y cuando yo le vi, caí como muerto a sus pies. Y él puso su diestra sobre mí, diciéndome: no temas; yo soy el primero y el último: 18 YO soy el que vive, y estaba muerto, y he aquí que vivo por los siglos de los siglos, Amén; y tengo las llaves del infierno y de la muerte. 19 Escribe las cosas que has visto, y las cosas que son, y de las cosas que serán en adelante; 20 El misterio de las siete estrellas que has visto en mi diestra, y los siete candeleros dorados. Las siete estrellas son los ángeles de las siete iglesias, y los siete candeleros que has visto, son las siete iglesias. Apocalipsis 1:1-20
