ITS THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU: You are known by the company you keep. You are only as good as the people around you. You are either part of the problem, part of the solution or just part of the scenery. Yesterday all of those statements were proven true. I am surrounded by people who always do more than is needed and inspire me to try harder than I did the first time. Im proud that our law firm, production company and cleaning company do things lots of other companies dont. Our team comes up with ideas or agrees to my crazy ideas to help others and to try to be an agent of good. Im tired, stiff and sore this morning but happy. Im going in to the office this morning to sort and organize more donations than I ever thought we would get. The real meaning of Christmas is giving and being surrounded by selfless people who give their time, money, love and baked goods so often makes me a better person. By the end of the day Im going to report back about just how much was given. Yesterday was the biggest event weve ever hosted. Im so grateful for the donors and for our team of worker bees who never say no. Im am truly blessed. Happy Monday.
