ITS TIME...I NEED EVERYONES HELP: As of yesterdays DVM appt, please read the update on this bio for ME Boxer Syreena. It is what we had hoped and now I need to ask, plead and beg everyone I know to help get a foster home, rescue group or forever home that fits and have a plan very soon. It is preferred that we look in the Southern States or up the Eastern seabord (up to RI) due to expected transport. Betsy has options covering those areas and I will cover that cost so we get this done safely by people she knows. Please understand this situation is a very high kill shelter worker who pulled this dog due to a Parvo outbreak, but has kept her, gotten her ME easily managed and has done everything I have asked to save her. However, Syreena is now cutting into costs they need to save a lot more dogs AND they have too many at home and with long work hours, this is not a good environment. We knew this, but needed to wait to get better word of her update to determine if she could even have quality of life in a home or no chance meaning better to let her go peacefully. Our prayers were answered, but now she MUST find a home. As the bio says, Betsy will allow her to complete the med program she on then she will be spayed. She is current on vacs and all records and x-rays (Betsy is going to try to take pics of these and email me, but dont have them yet so we are going by pics and what we are hearing) will go with her. I am able to answer many more questions about this situation so feel free to email me at [email protected]. I also ask that if you wish to contact anybody you know, many of us probably know them too. But, if it is someone we dont know, please know I have promised Betsy to handle the process of researching, interviewing, getting a home check if needed, etc to make sure she would be safe so ask for you to also place me in contact with whomever. I wont have time to contact general inquiry rescue groups, sanctuaries, etc. but have already done all that in nearby areas to Betsys location in McDonough, GA. Did not find a fit, so is why this is being broadcast to as many as we can reach in all medias. If you wish to email Betsy, she has hers on the bio. If a high kill shelter took the time to save this dog, get her evaluated, diagnosed and managed, then we NEED to do our part.
