ITS TIME TO RALLY BEHIND THE TIGES… The 2013 first national premier league Oberon tigers are quietly building towards an assault on the group 10 trophy this season. And with an all but certain booking with Bathurst St. pats in next week’s finals series, in which you can be sure the boys have last Year’s exit in the back of Their mind. It has been a fair few drinks between 1st grade glory here in Oberon let alone a top grade side that is there to support year after year but in 2012 this definitely was laid in concrete .And with another season about to pass another batch of youngsters blooded into the tigers colours along with a good mix of experienced and mature campaigners time to be a tiger is definitely now! This week will be the last home game of the season against Bathurst panthers for all 4 tigers sides and is our all-important can assist day raising funds for awareness of cancer. Premier league will don a special can assist Guernsey on the day in which these will be auctioned off in the leagues club at the post game functions. Also in other grades our girls league tag are still alive in this seasons competition and could very well claim 5th spot with a victory on Saturday and 1 other result falls there way , unfortunately our first division side has bowed out last week despite their 32-14 victory in Blayney joining u/18s in what will be the final games of the season for these two sides. This week our premier league side might be looking at a somewhat dead rubber match in which there position is not altered by any outcome but… you can bet this will be anything of that nature with chances to work on combinations, players looking to return from injury’s , and more importantly momentum to build on you can guarantee coach wade Judd will have his side peaking from here on out , I’m coming along for the ride I’m sure it will be a good one and it all starts this weekend hope to see plenty of black n gold in and around the ground this Saturday and over the next month showing their pride n passion for the tigers throughout this 2013 post season cheers n go u mighty tigers!!!
