ITSEKIRI MI, A CHANCE TO ESCAPE FROM IJAW HARRASMENT, INTIMIDATION - TopicsExpress

ITSEKIRI MI, A CHANCE TO ESCAPE FROM IJAW HARRASMENT, INTIMIDATION AND POGROM… A CLARION CALL TO VOTE OUT PRESIDENT GODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN GEJ is an obvious anti Itsekiri and a tribalistic bigot. A Fisherman who sits in Abuja pretending to be a Nationalist when relating with the Northerners, Westerners and Easterners, never tampering with what is due these larger groups. But when in the Niger Delta, he acts as a DRUNKEN WARLORD forcefully robbing other ethnic groups of what is due them. 1. Under the watch of GEJ, Chief James Ibori was harassed and pursued to prison, while a fellow chronic corrupt Alamieyeseiyegha, an ex convict was given Presidential Pardon, another form of Amnesty. 2. Under the watch of GEJ, Mr. Temisan Omatseye, an Itsekiri man and the former DG of NIMASA was booted out of office rather unceremonously, while Akpobolokemi, an Ijaw man was made the beneficiary of that office. Akpobolokemi was then mandated to disregard the previous employment process conducted under the watch of Mr. Temisan Omatseye and conduct a fresh employment process for NIMASA. The end result was the total Ijawrisation of NIMASA to the near total exclusion of applicants of other ethnic groups in the Niger Delta. This matter was so serious that the Senate of the Federal Republic had to set up a committee to look into whether the Federal Character Principle was adhered to. As usual with Nigeria, nothing came out of that Committee. 3. Under the watch of GEJ, the Maritime University, originally billed for Koko, an Itsekiri town, was relocated to Okerenkoko, an Ijaw enclave. As if that was not enough, lands belonging to Omadino Community was encroached with utmost disregard for the Omadino interest. 4. Under the watch of GEJ, the Ijaws of Gbaramatu have, with the connivance of the Minister of Petroleum Miss Deziani Allison Madueke, and Mr. President of course, both of whom are Ijaws, have blatantly and shamelessly attempted to balkarnize Ogidigben, an Itsekiri town on the face of the Atlantic, and split it with the intention of appeasing his Ijaw brothers of Gbaramatu. 5. Under the watch of GEJ, we have witnessed the shameless refusal of the FG to act right as it relates to breaking the ground for the commencement of the 16 billion dollars EPZ project at Ogidigben. The only reason why this has not been done is because Ogidigben is an Itsekiri town. And no doubt, this fisherman will surely make good his hidden intension to relocate this great EPZ idea of President Yar Adua from Ogidigben to Ijaw land if he secures his Second term bid. 6. Under the watch of GEJ, we have seen the empowerment and elevation of Ijaw militants over and above all others in the Niger Delta. Despite the existence of a very expensive Amnesty Program, we have seen the stockpiling of Arms and Amunition in the hands of the Ijaws to the detriment of the Itsekiri tribe, and other Niger Delta tribes. Even the acquisition of Warships and Warheads in disquise of a ridiculous Maritime Security contract. 7. Under the watch of GEJ, we have seen the relegation of the Nigerian Navy to the background as it relates to providing the needed security of the Nigerian coastal areas. Instead, the security of Nigeria has been mortgaged to a private firm run by an unrepentant ‘Ex’ Militant, Tompolo. This has given leeway for these Militants to legally acquire heavy war equipments, thus jeopardizing the security of the non Ijaws of the Niger Delta, especially the Itsekiri group. This also creates a kind of dual Armed Forces in the Nigerian State, one commanded by the Commander in Chief (C in C) while the other is commanded by the Chief Militant Officer (CMO) of the Niger Delta. 8. Under the Watch of GEJ, we have seen the relocation of a Housing Estate Project at our own very sacred Ode Itsekiri, being funded by the Ministry of Niger Delta, then headed by Elder God’sday Orubebe, an Ijaw man, relocated to Okerenkoko to appease the Ijaws after the Nigerian Military bombarded Camp 5. 9. It was the same GEJ who, as Vice President under President Umaru Musa Yar Adua, was directed to visit the Crises Ravaged Communities of Warri. This Ijaw VP, under the strict directive of Chief E.K. Clark, decided to visit over ten Ijaw enclaves without touching down on a single Itsekiri Community. Everybody, the world over knows that it was the Itsekiris whose communities were ravaged by Ijaw Militants during the Warri Crises. It was only GEJ that did not know of this fact. 10. Under the watch of GEJ, we have seen countless bullying and flagrant harassment of Itsekiris by his Chief Militant Officer (CMO) Tompolo. Of course this has been orchestrated through the award of some kind of Security Contracts with this militant who now have franchise and FG backing to harass, intimidate and even kill innocent Itsekiris in the guise of securing the water ways and protecting oil facilities. 11. Under the watch of GEJ, we have witnessed a classic case of USE HIM AND DUMP HIM as it relates to the pipe dream ambition of our DETRIBALIZED GOVERNOR who is not an Itsekiri, owing to his voluntary self declaration of being DETRIBALIZED, but who has been used to inflict deep pains on the Itsekiri people. The same way he used Kenneth Gbagi to destabilize our detribalized Governor before dumping him. And the same way he is using Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike to destabilize Rt. Hon. Chibuike Ritimi Amaechi of Rivers State. We wait to see how soon Wike will be dumped. The only persons that have not been dumped are the Ijaw guys around. The big question that my Itsekiri must answer now is: would you rather continue under a certified anti Itsekiri tribal bigot? I definitely would prefer to continue under an Aboki who would give fair hearing to my plight, restore sanity in the Niger Delta, and positively disarm the Ijaw Militants, than to continue with a fisherman with dangerous anti Itsekiri antics. I make bold to state that in today’s Nigeria, the only person that has what it takes to restore Sanity, especially as it relates to the continued stockpiling of Arms and Amunition in the Niger Delta is Gen. MUHAMMADU BUHARI I THEREFORE WANT TO, AS A MATTER OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE, CALL ON ALL ITSEKIRI, BOTH IN HIGH AND NOT SO HIGH PLACES, TO DESIST FROM EVEN CONTEMPLATING RETURNING GOODLUCK EBELE AZIKIWE JONATHAN TO ASO ROCK COME 2015. THIS IS A MATTER OF OUR CONTINUED CORPORATE SURVIVAL. ITSEKIRI MI, MO BE AGHAN O. I BEG YOU, AND I WARN YOU. O. Quincy
