IT’S TIME TO VOTE FOR LANGTON MINI BLADES! Langton, Ontario – November 1, 2013 CBC has released the official voting details for its Mini Battle of the Blades competition. Voting will open on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 7:55 pm EST and closes on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 8:00 pm EST. The winning pair representing the Langton Skating Club, Paige Vandendriessche and Jordan Vanacker will be highlighted on the CBC Battle of the Blades website and will compete against the 6 other local winners across Canada. The grand winner, as determined by the pair with the most on-line votes, will be given a trip to Toronto to attend the season finale of the Battle of the Blades later this month. Here are the instructions to follow for voting: 1. Go to cbc.ca/battle 2. Click “Register” and “Sign-Up” for an account. 3. Once you register you get 1 vote to use. You can earn extra votes over the weekend to support Paige and Jordan by completing simple trivia questions under the “Challenges” tab on the CBC Battle of the Blades website. Be sure to tune into the hit CBC television series Battle of the Blades at 7 pm on Sunday, November 3, 2013 to hear more details about the Mini Battle of the Blades competition. The grand winner will be announced on Thursday, November 7, 2013.
