IVE COME A LONG WAY I got born again 18 March 1999, doing my final year OLevel. Before then I was one of the naughty guys in school. When i made my stand, class mates and friends thought I wont last long... I finish OLevel still going strong and life was awaiting me.... I know what it means to think salvation will make all things smoothly and I just sit back watching things unfold, but no Sir! I saw myself at times wondering if prayer works.. Went to church and preacher said all things are possible but not for me at that point in time.. Heard scriptures of how when I saw I touch the heart of God; when I fast I will hear His voice... How the answer to my questions is between Genesis & Revelation... I heard people sharing their testimonies.... I had my fair share of wrongful acts - in Christianity they are called SINS... I had the moments of feeling like running away from church... Somehow I didnt & it amazes me when I look back to realise how God kept me.... When you go through stuff, you feel like you the only one going through it and others are having it easy.... You feel like nobody understands including God and the preacher.... This is what has sunk a lot of people & got them to backslide thinking IT DOESNT WORK After all the years of my christianity, I can tell you - IT WORKS I never ran from God, or away from church. In my deep sense of guilt I still went to church and repented... In my most low state when it seemed like prayer, fasting, giving, the bible doesnt work I held on and thats why Im still standing..... All the times i thought it wasnt working, it was nothing but my IGNORANCE of God, His ways of doing things... Hear it from me - DONT TURN AWAY FROM GOD, CHURCH OR BIBLE WAYS No matter what, you can come out the victorious one... Just know this: GOD IS FAITHFUL - never will lie, never will go against His word - THE BIBLE IS TRUE - u can bet ur life on it and e fulfilled.... JUST THOUGHT TO SHARE
