Iam JayThree gave a great breakdown on Artists & Management on his page earlier. Just to add a lil something to what he said...... The reason that I personally dont manage artists is because Im not knowledgeable enough or well enough connected to properly manage a hardworking & talented artist. Now think about that.....as much as I know about this business.....as many contacts as I have in my phone.....Im not equipped to be a great manager. If Ur an artist that let ya homie or ya cuzzin or ya podnuh manage you - theres nothing wrong with that - as long as theyre constantly learning and seeking ways to go from mediocre manager to magnificent manager. As an artist - realize that everybody saying they a manager AINT a manager. Most of em are just ppl hustling -- tryna get a free 20% outta your hard work & effort. Peep game & make the best decisions for yourself and your career. Its YOUR fault if you choose a bullshit manager. #Authentic
