Iam so sad my friend for over 45 years passed away Friday Father Joseph Herp.I met Joe thru my husband Don. They grew up together in the same neighborhood,went thru grade school,and high school together.They went to the movies every Thanksgiving growing up.He was in our wedding.After becoming a priest Joe baptized all our children. Helped us in our struggle to understand marriage its ups and downs.He consoled us in our griefs,and sorrows,laughed at our silly worries and our mistakes with our children and our marriage.Joe was my ,our friend,brother confessor.Joe was larger than life ,he loved people,his lunch buddies ,he loved and cared for his mother till her death,his beloved nieces and nephews,travel food and cooking and canning ,loved his daily swim.HE LOVE TO LAUGH.I love Father Joe and will miss him more than I realized,he was a true friend and dear one Joe I love you ,....goodby
