Ian Rapoport reports that the Buccaneers have reached an agreement with free agent RB Peyton Hillis on a one-year deal. Jason La Canfora reports that Hillis’ deal is for the veteran’s minimum. Adam Caplan reports that the Buccaners have waived RB Matt Brown to make room for Hillis. Hillis, 27, signed a one-year deal with the Chiefs last year, but wound up seeing very little playing time. He finished the year with 85 carries for 309 yards and a single touchdown. Even with the addition of Hillis, Doug Martin figures to be the team’s featured running back again this season.
