Ian is scheduled to leave on his foreign exchange trip to Bucharest, Romania today. There have been a lot of ups and downs with this trip concerning the civil unrest in Ukraine. Lots of rumors flying around, including the one where the State Dept suggested that they not go because of a travel warning in that area. There was no warning for Romania, but the County School Board has disavowed any responsibility for this trip because of the potential of any kind of violence. This all has me worried. Not sure if its because of the political climate or because hell be over on the other side of the world and all of a sudden Im a concerned parent. Anyway, please keep him and his school group (and his parents) in your prayers as he makes this journey. He is scheduled to return April 13th.
