Ibn Abdillah As-sudaisiy wrote; I begin to think that the South-West Muslim leaders should appoint their own Sultan if they are tired of following Emir of Sokoto. They have apparently lost confidence in the Northern Muslim leaders. Some are just interested in dividing us. Once you give allegiance to someone, what else is the problem? We, who have confidence in the Sultan would continue to follow him in his decisions in as much as there are reasonable proofs to show that he is on the proper path. I served in Bauchi and I know how easy it was to sight the moon.
