I caught a performance at ACME last year and was floored! Ironically, I also sat on the floor for half the show (right next to Garry Shandling, no less) so I guess you could say I was double floored. Kelly holds the crowd with the same authority as her father, yet ventures into emotional territory that he wouldnt touch on stage. The way she navigates the spectrum of emotion is masterful and the story she weaves is highly entertaining and throughly touching. If you live close enough to Burbank OR can get yourself there, I highly recommend this one! Its entirely worthy of a 15th HBO Carlin Special (Ahem, you listening HBO?). Maybe Ill see you there!
