Id be interested to hear from others who write both prose and poetry; how do you balance it? Do you work on one at a time? Do you assign each its own day or week? Do you just sit down to write and see what happens? I have a poetry and a fiction project going right now (one contractual, one on spec), and Id like to screw around with both until one becomes a complete obsession, as always happens. How do I budget my time, though?
