Id be open to considering Christmas as a legitimate celebration dedicated to Jesus, if someone can show me (from scripture): 1. Where Jesus Himself ordained and set apart this day, with these particular traditions and objects, 2. Where Jesus disciples and apostles observed this day, and instructed the churches to do likewise, 3. Where God retracted His ordinances regarding the use of objects and foreign customs in worship toward Him, 4. Where worshipping God in Spirit and in Truth involves any or all of the things typically done during the Christmas season, 5. Where Jesus added a clause to His statement during the Passover meal/Last Supper, This do in remembrance of Me, wherein we were given authority to create another day and another form of remembrance beside that which He instructed. If these things can be clearly explained with scripture and December 25 along with all its traditions is deemed scriptural, Ill be happy to explore it and re-enter my participation in it.
