Id consider myself an instrumentalist rather than a musician. To be revered as a musician for me is such an honor and at this point in my life, after many years of playing and making music, I still feel as if I havent earned the title of musician. I feel lost. I pick up a guitar and strum a chord and feel empty. What once gave me joy has now taken over as a terrible reminder of what was. I cant think of music without feeling a bit of hatred for myself. Actually no not hate. Just disappointment. I have let down so many people and most of all, I have let down myself. I dont want to face reality. I want to keep dreaming. Let me keep dream for a bit longer.
