Id like take a second and do a personal post. When I joined this organization 3 years ago, I could barely run 1 mile. Because of your encouragement, inspiration, and support, I ran my first marathon on Sunday. I was injured and desperately struggling to continue, but when I got to the wear blue Mile, I was moved to tears. Moved because of the faces of the fallen and moved by your relentless support. The nationwide (and beyond) community you collectively make up is astounding. Together, we are deeply rooted in a shared mission, as well as a mutual respect and admiration for one another. We dont have to officially know each other, but we are a part of a greater goal and press forward to reach it as one united team. I am honored to take strides with you and look forward to many more.
