Id like to bring up a topic Im not sure has been posted about before. Yesterday my brother came home from work and there was a woman in a knit hat with her dog on a lease and the dog was squatting right behind my moms car. She had seen him with his turn signal on but still didnt move for him to park. He told us he didnt see her holding a bag to pick up dog poop with and I have witnessed people on the north side on my walks allow their dogs to poop both on the sidewalk and on other peoples property without picking it up in all seasons. When you walk your dog PLEASE pick up after it and be respectful where you let your dogs poop and pee. Allowing them to do so behind a parked car where people will most likely be walking to get to their car is not ok. Allowing them to poop on someone elses property and not pick it up is not ok. Letting them poop on the sidewalk where others have to walk is not ok. I didnt think this had to be said but obviously it does. We have two dogs of our own and any time I take either of them for a walk I make sure to have at least 3 plastic bags with me to pick up after them. Please be respectful to other people and their property. Anyone else have stories of the like?
