Id like to clear up something guys which is important to me. I post specific things to my page for a reason, not to cause arguments, but for me to create a better understanding. I posted about Minimalism and today a post about Mark Rothko and abstract expressionism, and both posts have had an effect, but some people have been offensive. I post and simply ask for your opinions, because I value them and I listen to them. I get a message on my page and I reply to you (unless its offensive). The minimalism post even made me appreciate something I thought I never would and encouraged me to try something new. In the Mark Rothko painting I was told I didnt care which upsets me no end, especially when I shared that artists work on my on page earlier in the year. I dont have to share anything on my page, I dont have to reply to you, but I do, because of course I care. When people want to know what materials I use I show you, even providing places to buy them from, when people want general advice as an artist or friend im there, so being told I dont care has really upset me. There is also a feeling that I am jealous of other artists. I used to be, but I assure you thats is not the case at all now, im proud of myself for what I can do and if anyone on my page has done something to be proud of I will congratulate them in equal measure. I apologize if the way I say things sometimes may upset people, but im so passionate about art it physically hurts me.....im just trying to learn more and with your opinions it helps me a lot to understand things I may originally miss. I think I just need some time on my own after some of the comments I have read......
