Id like to commend both the Lewisville Police Dept and Fire Dept for their very fast response to a terrible accident last night behind my house. They were there within minutes. While watching tv I heard an extremely loud boom. At first I thought was that thunder? Wait, its not supposed to rain. Man somebodys house mustve blown up!! Thats how loud it was over my tv and surround sound! I called 911 along with others and got in my truck to see if anybody needed help. I found the the 1 ton dually truck that was reduced to rubble after striking several trees, knocking one down and rolling I would imagine at least 2-3 times ending up on its top. The first officer arrived shortly after I got there and immediately tried making contact with a driver verbally because the entire top of the truck was crushed down to the top of the door where the window comes out. It looked like Bigfoot ran over the truck. With in minutes the scene was under control and the FD cut the man out of the truck and transported him. Hope hes ok. Not sure what he was doing or what caused the wreck but Im glad none of my neighbors were hurt since he ended up in their front yard. Russell Kerbow
