Id like to give a very brief overview of American History, - TopicsExpress

Id like to give a very brief overview of American History, inspired by my friend Timothy Mitchell, which addresses a very condensed version of american history regarding progressive/liberals, and government, in general. Now, lets start with the Civil War. It was a Republican, Abraham Lincoln, that freed to slaves. Several years later, it was the democrats that started the terror group, the KKK. Then, under Woodrow Wilson, at the turn of the last century, started the Progressive Movement, the voluntary income tax, which is now our nemesis. Woodrow Wilson also, with the 16th amendment, created the Federal Reserve, which manipulates our economy, and regulates our banks, and set up the IRS to take our money, without cause, and without due-process. Now lets move into the 40s. FDR set up the New Deal program, which set up many of our illegitimate social programs to attempt to get us out of the Great Depression , when, the fact of the matter is, we were in WWII, and we needed people to build tanks and jeeps and planes; and thats the true exit from the Depression, but the programs still stuck. then, after the Kennedy assasination, comes Lyndon Johnson, another progressive liberal. He, Engages us in the most meaningless war in our history, in Viet Nam, where we lost some 60,000 troops. Then, under the Johnson Regime, in 1964, we have the Civil Rights Act. Had it not been for our Republican Congress, this act never would have passed. I.E., the Democrats were voting AGAINST civil rights for people of color. Now, lets move to Jimmy Carter, in the late 70s. He wrote the CRV, which was part of the latest economic collapse, but Ill get back to that in a minute. Then, we move up to Bill Clinton: A man that can blatantly break the law, and get away with it, for the most part. (Now, I challenge people to explain exactly what Im referring to in that last line.) Also, Clinton brought back Carters CRV Act, which was a major contributor to our current economic woes, and I want to see how many know what Im talking about. Now, my last paragraph was not stated to make anyone feel stupid, or anything like that, but, after all of the rhetoric, and the years gone by, Im curious as to what people think, and what people know. Anyway, Ill give a hint: Bill Clinton was impeached by the House, (But not the Senate,) And Martha Stewart was sent to prison for the exact same crime. Can anyone tell me the correllation?
