Id like to invite all my friends to participate in an experiment - TopicsExpress

Id like to invite all my friends to participate in an experiment of sorts. The intention is simply to energize peace on planet Earth!. HOW: take 2 minutes of your time ever Sunday and send out a intention/prayer for world peace and hold it for 2 minutes. WHEN: The effect will increase if we do it simultaneously (I have experienced this effect in group meditations/prayer countless times and I am sure many/most of you have had similar experiences). I am joining an international effort every Sunday at 3 pm GMT and invite you wholeheartedly to do the same. Currently this equals 11 pm in Taiwan, 6 pm in Cairo, 5 pm in Central Europe, 4 pm in UK, 11 am in New York, 10 am in Houston, 9 am in Denver and 8 am in Los Angeles. WHY: 99% or more of humanity is against war. All the pain and suffering wars produce; the injured, maimed and killed, whether soldiers or civilians are part of the 99%. If the 1% bent on war, violence and killing actually fought each other, ideally on some deserted island far way, then Id say to each their own. However this is not the case, those who instigate wars never get involved directly/personally because it makes no sense to. The main tool used by the 1% promoting war is fear. And while people and nation are free and justified to defend themselves against foreign aggressors/invaders, in almost all cases fear is manufactured to create a perceived threat where there is none. Case in point, since the first world war the USA has been involved in over 30 wars/invasions, how many of those have been as a result of a direct threat of another nation trying to invade/conquer the USA? How many of those wars have come as a result of sovereign nations defending against the USA? Here is another way of looking at it since the inception of the USA in 1776, the USA has been involved with one or more wars for 237 years, and at peace 21 years. Pick any year between now and 1776 and you have a 91%+ chance that the USA was involved in one or more wars during that year. There are several ways we the people who compromise the 99% can promote peace. Those who believe the political system has merit can get involved at that level. Write letters to your representatives. Organize grass roots events to educate others and promote peace. Make your voice heard. Share your intellect and passion with others. Those who believe that wars have been instigated by the 1% who financially profit the most from them, the industrial-military complex (now the industrial-military-political-banking-media complex) that President Eisenhower warned about https://youtube/watch?v=8y06NSBBRtY can become educated about which corporations financially benefiting directly and indirectly from wars and openly or privately stop funding them with their purchases. A great place to start would be to move your money from the banks (and subsidiaries) financing wars into those who arent. Every $ counts as a type of vote for either war/suffering/killing or peace/compassion/love for the other. In the information age, ignorance of where each one of our $ is going to is not a valid or moral personal excuse. Eisenhowers warning aired over 53 years ago, when is a good time to start heading it? How about now! Those who believe that there is more to life than what the 5 senses can sense. Those who believe that there is a Spiritual dimension to life are invited to participate in global meditation/prayer and if you like you can join me and many others every Sunday. Over 50 experiments have been conducted in different cities where 5000 - 7000 people have meditated for peace and a significant drop in crime and violence was achieved. Prayer and meditation have also been proven to have measurable personal benefit too so there is nothing to loose and everything to gain. It is estimated that it will take 144,000 people meditating simultaneously to shift global consciousness. Lets make peace the norm! Big HUG full of love and peace!
