Id like to post this from Tim Moncus wall: Tim Moncus 1 hr · Today was a day for the first time in a long time Ive been at a loss for words. This morning I went by to see my mom with a slawdog from Charlie Josephs her favorite! I cut the hot dog into small portions so she could handle it! I sat by the bed as she ate part of the hotdog! We talked a bit and she told me my brother and sister n law had been there earlier today. Then she told me her sister and her husband had come by also today. After she finished eating I gave her some water and she drifted off to sleep! By the time I got home for lunch I got a call to come back something had happened! By the time I arrived my sister Nan was there and my mother had passed away! We will most likely have a visitation tomorrow night at Hunter Allen Myhand funeral home! We will post more tomorrow about the arrangments! Weve decided to hold the service Thursday at four o clock at Unity Baptist Church. If something changes we will be sure to repost the corrections! My mother Virginia Gunn was a wonderful musical instrument of God and will be forever remembered for her talent her love of God and the wonderful job she did with her family and students as a teacher for many years! My life has been truly blessed to be born into a family with such a talent to entertain us as we grew up! I will always cherish the memories of my mom sitting at that piano and singing her heart out filling the house with music and love! We were truly blessed! The outpour of love and support from so many of you today will never be forgotten! Please continue to pray for our familys recovery from our loss but her beginning on her new journey! My mother will certainly be in the bosom of God!
