Id like to take a moment to talk about racism. Most of you have a pretty good idea what true racism looks like but let me share a thought. I dont care about the guy who would make a joke about my race, call me chinaman, gook, ect.. I have a guy at work calls me a Purto Rican Porch Monkey... lol (Personally I love that one) The racists Im afraid of are the ones who are very nice to your face, would NEVER tell a racist joke but wouldnt want you to marry their daughter, or be part of their family. I have a good friend who drives me around when Im at my terminal in Alabama, he is black and he is my friend. I would do anything I could for him and I am sure he would do the same. We pulled up next to another friend of mine and I rolled down my window to say Hi. The guy in the other car asked who was driving my car.... My response was.."Oh him? Thats Clarence my new House Knee Grow" You should have seen the look on the guy in the other car.. he was so nervous he wouldnt even smile, even though privately he has the best jokes around. The point is as a minority I dont fear those who call me names, I fear those who would strip me of opportunities without first giving me a chance and I can count on 3 fingers how many times that has happened in my life.
